Fjordsafari Gudvangen Taste

We use open RIB boats with a maximum of 12 guests, ensuring a personal experience and a chance to get close to small villages and waterfalls along the way. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, stories, tales and history shared by your personal guide. Bring your family, colleagues or friends as we take you closer to nature while spotting for wildlife.

Experience both the UNESCO listed Nærøyfjord and the Aurlandsfjord as we take you on a journey from Gudvangen to Flåm one way by boat. We stop in the village of Undredal to taste the special local goat cheese. Learn the history of the goatcheese while you take in the beautiful view over the fjord. If you find your favorite goat cheese in Undredal, it is possible to purchase cheeses from the café before departure.

We will provide you with all the necessary gear for a safe and comfortable experience on the fjords. This includes floatation suit, life vest, hat, gloves, and goggles. We recommend dressing according to the temperature/weather and to avoid wearing open shoes.

Alternative 1 GUDVANGEN - GUDVANGEN: Start the tour at check-in in Gudvangen 13:00. Arrive Flåm at 15:40 and have 1h free time to explore Flåm, before returning to Gudvangen by shuttlebus (20 min) at 17:15. During your free hour in Flåm you could for example check out the Flåm railway museum, go for a beer tasting at Ægir BrewPub , enjoy something to eat or drink from the local cafees or simply walk around town.

Alternative 2: FLÅM - FLÅM: Start the tour with a shuttlebus from Flåm at 12:15 (20 minutes). Explore Gudvangen until check-in for the FjordSafari 13:00. End the tour in Flåm at 15:40. During your time in Gudvangen you could for example visit the Viking Valley or enjoy a lunch at the local cafe.
