1. Fjordsafari and Hike - New edition

This tour comes highly recommended by our head guide, Ervin. It offers the perfect combination of a relaxed guided experience and active exploration on fot. Begin by taking in the unique views from our comfortable RIB boats. Then, dive deeper into the scenery with a hike to Skjerdal Stølsysteri og cafè. A working Norwegian summer farm, for a delicious lunch.

This adventure is ideal for those who love active excursions and enjoy connecting people and farm animals, as well as nature.

2. Mariannes Bakeri and Café


Charming Café for Coffee, Pastries, or a Light Lunch. Escape the hustle and bustle of the cruise ship crowd in Flåm and discover this local favourite. Enjoy fresh ingredients, homemade offerings, and the warm hospitality of the friendly staff.
It's the ideal place to chill with a cup of coffee, savor pastries, or enjoy a light lunch.

  • Also keep an eye out for the Organic farm shop in the basement of the building. They sell organic produce from the Aurland Organic Agricultural School.

3. Fjord Sauna

Heat relieves tired muscles and softens tension, offering a great way to unwind. The contrast between the warmth of the sauna and a wild swim in the cool fjord, activates the senses. Enhancing the feeling of relaxation. It is a unique experience, relaxing the body whilst resting the eyes upon the fjord.

For us, the fjord sauna is the perfect end to a day of adventure, resting both body and mind. Choose between shared and private sauna in Aurland or Flåm.

4. A challenging hike at Mt Prest with fjordsafari

Expect a personal guided adventure filled with local history, stories, and stunning views of the Aurlandsfjord on this popular local hike.

The entire excursion, starting and ending in Flåm, takes 5 hours, with 4 hours dedicated to hiking. It begins with a drive to the Stegastein Viewpoint, offering beautiful views before continuing to the startingpoint of our hike.
The hike is steep with significant drops on the fjord side, leading up the north edge of Mt. Prest. At the top you can enjoy the panoramic views, leave a note in the visitor's notebook, and take a fjord view selfie before heading back to Flåm.

5. Glassblowing gallery- Merete Rein

Are you looking for an authentic suvenir or a pressent for someone special? Why not visit Merete Rein in her glassblowing studio and gallery at the heart of Aurland. She makes artisanal pieces, glasses and vases.

6. Easy waterfall hike and Stegastein viewpoint with Fjordsafari.

This is a lovely guided experience for guest who enjoy an easy to moderate hike. The tour begins with a 15-minute minibus drive to Aurland, followed by a hike from an organic agricultural school along an old farm path to the Turlidfossen waterfall. Approaching the waterfall, you might get a misty shower. During spring and summer months.

After returning to the minibus at the agricultural school we drive up the infamous Aurland mountain road towards the popular view point of Stegastein. Stegastein is placed 650 meters above the sea level, where the scenic and panoramic views of one of the greatest fjords open to you.

7. Aurland shoe shop & museum - “THE ORIGINAL PENNYLOAFER”

The Aurland Shoe factury is a great place for a special keepsake. With the Voice of Norway audio guide app, you can tour the historic factory at your own pace within their opening hours.

The guide provides insight into the craftsmanship and history of the Aurland Shoe, known as the original penny loafer. This working factory combines a genuine tourist attraction with the production and sale of traditional products, showcasing craft traditions in their historical context and offering the chance to purchase these unique items.

8. Viking dinner at Ægir Brewpub & Fjordsafari

Combine our best selling tour Fjordsafari Extended with a unique dinner experience at Ægir pub and brewery. The Fjordsafari takes you deep into the Unesco listed Nærøyfjord in open RIB boats. Fjordsafari presents you with suitable clothing and safety gear. Your guide will share stories, local history and tales from this spectacular area.

In the Viking halls of Ægir Brewpub you will be served the “Ægir Viking plank”, a unique 5-course beer and food menu consisting of five local dishes perfectly paired with five different kinds of beer from Ægir Brewery. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also available, ensuring everyone can enjoy this exceptional culinary journey.


9. The village of Undredal

This unique Norwegian village has a little bit of everything: Spectacular fjord-views, Scandinavia’s smallest Stave Church, friendly goats and lovely food.

Ideal for guests who want to immerse themselves in local history and culture. Our experience includes a goat cheese tasting, a guided walking tour of Undredal village and a visit inside Scandinatia’s smallest (in use today) stave church. After the tour you can enjoy a relaxing lunch at the dockside restaurant, savoring the unique flavors of the region.

10. Aurlandsdalen

Discover Norways Grand Canyon and join us on this challenging hike. The well-known and historic Aurlandsdalen Valley, was once one of the main routes between the eastern and western parts of the country. The path takes you past canyons and gorges, down steep slopes, surrounded by high and rugged stone formations and provides an unforgettable experience for walkers. Many of the old farm houses are still there and pay witness to times past.

This adventure is a full-day hike, and you'll need good physical fitness to enjoy and complete it.
