Experience more of Norway’s stunning fjord landscape on our FjordSafari Extended tour. This extended journey builds upon the FjordSafari tour, taking you further into the fjords for a truly immersive adventure. While the 1.5-hour tour brings you to the entrance of the Nærøyfjord, the FjordSafari Extended continues deeper, reaching the famous Viking village of Gudvangen at the far end of the fjord before returning to Flåm.

On this 2 hour 15-minute tour, you'll explore both the UNESCO-listed Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, getting up close to small villages, waterfalls, and the striking natural beauty that defines this region. With a maximum of 12 guests in our open RBB boats, you'll enjoy a personal and intimate experience, complete with fascinating stories and local history shared by your guide.

As with all our FjordSafari tours, we provide essential gear to ensure your comfort and safety on the fjords, including flotation suits, life vests, hats, gloves, and goggles. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, and we recommend avoiding open shoes for this tour.

What sets FjordSafari Extended apart?
The extended tour offers a longer, more comprehensive fjord experience, giving you the chance to see the entire UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, making it the perfect choice for those who want to see it all. Read more about the difference between the two tours HERE.
